Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Day-to-day accounting of factory operations including raw material, WIP, and finished goods.
Handle cost accounting, variance analysis, and reporting of production expenses/ MIS
Monitor consumption of raw materials and utilities, ensuring accurate booking in SAP.
Perform monthly closing activities including stock valuation, costing run, and reconciliation of GR/IR.
Fixed Assets/Capex handling in SAP
Support internal and statutory audits with timely reports and reconciliations.
Prepare MIS reports on production cost, yield, wastage, and overheads for management.
Coordinate with production, stores, procurement for smooth costing/accounting
Working Knowledge of Banking operations.

Preferred candidate profile

Good knowledge of SAP (FI/CO/MM modules
Good understanding of factory cost accounting and inventory management.
Basic Commercial/GST knowledge
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel for MIS and data analysis.
Experience 5 to 7 years
Local candidate preferred
