Job Description

Accounting & Reporting

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and journal entries
Ensure accurate MIS and management reports

Statutory & Regulatory Compliances

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and local laws
Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC and other statutory filings
Coordinate internal, statutory, and tax audits
Maintain compliance calendars and regulatory documentation

Cross-Country / International Payments

Manage cross-border payments and receipts
Ensure FEMA, RBI, and banking compliance for foreign transactions
Handle inward/outward remittances, FIRC, BRC, and SOFTEX (if applicable)
Coordinate with banks for SWIFT, LC, BG, and forex documentation
Monitor exchange rates and account for forex gains/losses
Ensure compliance with international tax and withholding requirements

AP / AR & Cash Flow

Oversee accounts payable and receivable
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and bank reconciliations

Team & Process Management

Supervise junior accountants and review their work
Strengthen internal controls and accounting processes

Key Skills

Strong compliance knowledge (GST, Income Tax, FEMA)
Experience in international banking and cross-border transactions
Proficiency in ERP/Tally/SAP and advanced Excel
Strong coordination with banks, auditors, and consultants
