As a Senior ETL Developer (SSIS Expert) at Value Health Inc., you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust ETL processes that support data warehousing and analytics requirements. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and deploying SSIS packages to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources. - Optimizing and tuning SSIS packages for performance and scalability. - Managing complex data flows, transformations, and error handling in SSIS. - Maintaining and enhancing existing ETL processes to meet evolving business requirements. - Collaborating with business analysts and data architects to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions. - Implementing data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation processes. - Monitoring and troubleshooting ETL jobs to ensure successful execution and data integrity. - Documenting processes, workflows, and architecture for operational readiness. - Ensuring data security and compliance with data governance policies. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 5+ years of hands-on experience with ETL and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services). - Strong knowledge of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and data modeling. - Expertise in writing complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning. - Experience with SQL Server and other relational databases. - Solid understanding of data quality, cleansing, and transformation rules. - Experience with job scheduling tools and automation of SSIS workflows. - Knowledge of version control systems like Git/TFS. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
