Senior Estimation Engineer in Sales

Job Description

CHIEF RESPONSIBILITIES: · Responsible for Handling Branch – costing & ensuring achievement of defined and agreed Sales targets on a monthly basis in line with the annual plans. · To generate new data base of suppliers and achieve better input price with a target of 10% reduction from current costing. · Guide & Train the colleague to generate Costing without any error and Offer to the client. · To guide sales team on market coverage effort in terms of Tender info / Competitor info. · To develop skills related to art of negotiating and effective sourcing also maintain a good PR with in-house team & the Vendor pool. · To ensure that the costing is arrived for all tenders within the stipulated period without any Technical deviation. · Introduce new vendors / contractors to maintain healthy competition among the vendors / contractors, to achieve the Cost support and to maintain pool of vendors / contractors with proper database. · Ensure always to get minimum 3 offers / price support for every line item in the tender. · Perform technical and commercial review of every estimates before sharing to Sales / clients, the same needs to be concluded from Dept. Seniors. · Costing MIS has to be shared on weekly basis & the same has to reviewed by your Seniors. · Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying & cross checking of Techno commercial offers from vendors / subcontractors & from the costing team to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded. · Coordinate and work with the Design & Planning team / Procurement if any uncertainty in the estimates to take a Techno-commercial call. · To providing opportunity for the team member to acquire a working technical knowledge of the items / products by understanding the BOQ specifications and Providing the necessary training and guidance for newly joined within the department · Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as required.
