Senior Engineering Manager

As a Sr. Engineering Manager, you will set and direct the engineering sales department's activities. You will work with management, logistics, and test staff to determine engineering feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and customer demand for new and existing components. You will be responsible for daily monitoring and resolution of technical issues and validation of engineering changes that arise from revised requirements. You will interface with our sales engineering managers and our customer's design engineers to resolve potential supply or programming issues and provide technical assistance. Key Responsibilities: - Set and direct the engineering sales department's activities - Work with management, logistics, and test staff to determine engineering feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and customer demand - Monitor and resolve technical issues on a daily basis - Validate engineering changes arising from revised requirements - Interface with sales engineering managers and customers" design engineers to resolve supply or programming issues Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's of Science or Master's degree in any Engineering field - 6-8+ years of experience in an engineering management role - Strong computer and database skills - Ability to write software in Python, C/C++/VB/C# or other high-level language In addition, you should be flexible enough to change priorities as business needs dictate, able to work with limited supervision and high motivation, possess good reasoning abilities and sound judgment, and be organized and able to prioritize tasks.
