Technical Data Analyst

Role Overview: As a technical data analyst intern at Vyrian, you will utilize your data analysis and statistical skills on various supply chain projects and activities. You will work in a dynamic environment and be responsible for a wide range of predictive analytics, statistical applications, and modeling. Your primary focus will be to automate and streamline data gathering and reporting methodologies to enhance the productivity and effectiveness of Vyrians sales teams, ultimately contributing to an increase in revenue and margin. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize advanced math and statistical modeling skills for analysis and modeling tasks. - Work with SQL, BI tools, and Excel to produce ad-hoc data analyses and presentations. - Utilize knowledge in advanced analytics tools such as Python, R, Einstein Plus, Dataiku for data analysis. - Collaborate with the team to work on various supply chain projects and activities. - Implement predictive analytics to support decision-making processes within the organization. Qualifications Required: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's of Science or Master's degree in any math, science, or engineering field. - Possess advanced math and statistical modeling skills, with a preference for a major in Statistics or Data Science. - Experience using SQL, BI tools, and Excel for data analysis and presentations. - Knowledge of advanced analytics tools like Python, R, Einstein Plus, Dataiku is a plus. - Strong passion for working with large volumes of data. - Ability to work assertively with limited supervision and high motivation. - Good reasoning abilities and sound judgment. - Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
