Description
As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Americans Tech Hub in Hyderabad, India, you will play a crucial role in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions to enhance the travel experience for American Airlines customers and team members. Here's what you'll be responsible for: - Designing, deploying, and managing Cloud Infrastructure solutions to build scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions like Kubernetes Platform in Azure or other public clouds. - Collaborating with Cybersecurity and enterprise architects to define and implement cloud solution best practices following Well-Architect Framework for security, reliability, performance, and cost efficiency. - Ensuring customer needs are met by aligning product strategy objectives, user requirements, and technical environment compatibility. - Effectively communicating product strategy, roadmap, and changes to customers and stakeholders. - Driving innovation by automating infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code technologies. - Managing the lifecycle of cloud solutions and platforms to keep the system stack up to date. - Writing, testing, and documenting technical work products according to organizational standards and practices. - Monitoring cloud systems for availability, performance, and cost efficiency, optimizing usage and resources. - Diagnosing and resolving issues in cloud environments and providing support for internal teams and stakeholders. - Participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation to support business-critical applications or systems, conducting root cause analysis to identify domain-level problems and prescribing action items to mitigate. **Qualifications Required:** Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training. - 4+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing large-scale solutions in production environments. Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training. - Airline Industry experience. **Mandatory Skills:** - SAP HCM / HR **Skills, Licenses, and Certifications:** - Proficiency in programming languages: Java, Python, C#, JavaScript/Typescript, Golang. - Experience with frameworks like Spring/Spring Boot and FastAPI. - Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Angular/React. - Knowledge of deployment technologies like Kubernetes and Docker. - Expertise in source control tools like GitHub and Azure DevOps. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps. - Understanding of data management systems like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis. - Proficiency in integration/APIs technologies such as Kafka, REST, and GraphQL. - Experience working with cloud providers like Azure and AWS. - Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and YAML. - Knowledge of GitOps tools like Argo CD and Fleet. - Proficiency in container orchestration using Kubernetes. - Ability to optimize solutions for performance, resiliency, and reliability while maintaining simplicity. - Strong communication skills in verbal, written, code, and diagram formats. - Proficiency in Agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM.,
