Job Description

Create and release engineering drawings and bill of materials using the Engineering Change Management process.
Develop generic models of bearings and generate bearing variants.
Drive digitalization activities to enhance modular design processes, increasing speed and quality assurance.
Define and develop engineering requirement specifications for bearing components and assemblies.
Collaborate with product development centers to foster strong engagement and conduct design reviews, ensuring buy-in from cross-functional teams.
Manage projects independently, multitasking without compromising effectiveness.
Create or modify 3D models and drawings based on stakeholder requirements, demonstrating the ability to integrate GPS into product design (in proposal and manufacturing drawings).
Resolve issues related to Windchill (PDM) activities, including CAD data upload, attribute value assignment, and WT parts creation.
Work and manage according to the product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process established by respective Product lines.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
Experience in conceptual design and development activities from end-to-end solution.
Understanding of PDP process and other quality requirements.
Proficiency in modeling, assembly, and detailing in Creo.
Knowledge of incorporating manufacturing process methodology in Creo, drawing release process, and ECM process.
Ability to apply Geometric Product Specification (GPS), tolerances, precision, accuracy, reliability, and traceability.
Familiarity with metrology and metallurgy aspects.
Proficiency in selecting materials for application/design requirements based on their behavior properties.
Experience in applying measurement principles for manufacturing and other processes.
Proficiency in manufacturing and machining processes.
