about the role We re searching for a talented and passionate Senior Engineer having experience on Cloud and IT infrastructure management to join our Service Delivery team , which is responsible for Integration, managing, securing, and supporting Cloud IT infrastructure for our customers around the world. You will be responsible for the maintenance and support of cloud-based systems, including server infrastructure, virtual machines, and cloud-based applications. This role requires extensive technical knowledge of cloud platforms and experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient operation of cloud infrastructure. This involves providing technical support and assistance for cloud-based applications and services. The primary responsibilities include monitoring the health and performance of cloud-based systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing support to end users. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the day-to-day operation of a companys cloud-based infrastructure. You will be ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based services and applications, and involves working with a team of IT professionals to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise. You will also be responsible for resolving incidents and problems related to cloud services and coordinating with L1 and L3 support teams to ensure timely resolution. Overall, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of cloud-based systems and applications, and they are essential to the success of any organization that relies on cloud-based technologies. You will be required to work in 24x7 environment to ensure service availability to our customers cloud and IT infrastructure. Job Responsibilities: Monitoring: You will be responsible for monitoring the AWS infrastructure and ensuring optimal performance. This will involve using monitoring tools to identify issues and troubleshoot them. You should be proficient in using AWS tools for monitoring and logging, and be able to troubleshoot and diagnose issues quickly. Troubleshooting: You will need to identify and resolve issues that arise with cloud-based systems. This may involve working with other IT professionals to diagnose the root cause of problems and implement solutions. Incident management: You will be responsible for managing incidents that occur within the cloud-based infrastructure. This will involve coordinating with other IT professionals to resolve issues and minimize downtime Performance tuning: You will be responsible for tuning the performance of various cloud-based systems to ensure that they are operating at peak efficiency. Conducting routine maintenance: This involves regularly performing system updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure that the infrastructure remains secure and up-to-date Participating in on-call rotation: You may be required to participate in an on-call rotation to ensure that 24/7 support is available for the cloud infrastructure. Participate in on-call rotations to provide after-hours support for critical issues Automation : You will be expected to automate various tasks within the cloud-based infrastructure to reduce manual effort and improve overall efficiency. Application Management: Managing the deployment and maintenance of applications on the AWS cloud. This includes monitoring application performance, optimizing resource utilization, and troubleshooting issues related to the application. Network security Management: manage AWS network services, Route53, DHCP services. Ensure the security of the AWS infrastructure and applications. This includes implementing security best practices, monitoring security events, and responding to security incidents. Managing and monitoring backups: responsible for managing and monitoring backups of data and applications to ensure that they can be restored in the event of a disaster or other disruption. Collaboration: You would be responsible for collaborating with other members of the operations team, as well as with developers and other stakeholders, to ensure that issues are resolved quickly and effectively. This would involve communicating clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to ensure that everyone is on the same page. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing : You will need to document all processes and procedures related to the cloud-based infrastructure to ensure that other IT professionals can easily understand how to manage it. about you This is a customer-facing role and is ideal for an excellent communicator with a positive outlook and having problem solving mindset. You should be ready to work in customer time zone and during off business hours to manage operations. Work experience: You should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, specifically on AWS Network Security Qualifications: BE/B.Tech/MCA/ B.Sc. (IT/Computer Science) AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator MCSA / MCSE / RHCE ITIL certification Skill profile: Technical skills: The cloud SME should have strong technical skills and expertise in cloud computing and related technologies Experience on managing large scale environment running on Cloud (AWS) Proficient in configuring and using monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, etc., and logging tools like CloudTrail, ELK, Splunk, etc. You should be able to proactively monitor and analyze cloud infrastructure performance and troubleshoot issues. Experience with one or more infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.) Familiarity with DevOps tools and methodologies like Git, Jenkins, Ansible, and Docker, and experience implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Ability to automate routine tasks and create scripts for AWS infrastructure management using tools like AWS CLI, AWS SDK, and AWS CloudFormation Experience with various database technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB, etc. You should be able to design and manage scalable, secure, and highly available database solutions in the cloud strong understanding of AWS security practices, including IAM, Security Groups, Network ACLs, KMS, S3 Bucket Policies, SSL/TLS Certificates, encryption technologies etc. You should be able to design and implement secure cloud solutions and ensure compliance with relevant security standards proficient in designing and implementing disaster recovery solutions like Multi-AZ, Cross-Region Replication, Backup and Restore, etc. You should be able to ensure high availability and recoverability of cloud infrastructure in the event of a disaster Experience in managing windows server, Active Directory, GPO, etc. Experience on supporting middleware Experience working with some or all technologies below: EC2, ELB, ECS, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, Route53 S3 Windows Server, AD, GPO, Linux AD, LDAP, ADFS, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, PKI, etc Communication skills: should have excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders Self-Motivation: Ability to work with minimal supervision in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders Problem solving skills: should have strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
