Senior Engineer NaOH Etching & IOX

We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer NaOH Etching & IOX with expertise in wet and dry etching processes for semiconductor, MEMS, or microfabrication environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in process optimization, tool handling, and cross-functional collaboration to drive continuous improvement and high-yield production.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain high-yield etching processes for crystalline silicon and dielectric materials (SiO, AlO, etc.).
  
• Expertise in anisotropic etching of monocrystalline silicon using

  NaOH-based aqueous solutions

  and dielectric layer etching (SiO, AlO, TaO, HfO, TiO).
• Operate and maintain wet etching equipment (Quartz/Teflon tanks, temperature-controlled baths, DI rinsing, IPA drying) and dry etch tools (RIE/ICP systems).
  
• Conduct

  process capability studies (Cp, Cpk), DOE, SPC, and yield improvement

  initiatives.
• Collaborate with

  Quality, Production, and Cross-functional teams

  to implement engineering changes (Kaizen, Poka Yoke, cost savings, manpower optimization).
• Prepare and maintain

  Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), PFMEAs, Control Plans, and SOPs

  .
• Support

  internal and external audits

  ensuring documentation, calibration, and compliance.
• Monitor and report key performance metrics: OEE, OPP, FTQ, CPC, scrap cost, consumable usage.
  
• Drive

  continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles

  to optimize workflow and productivity.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Education:

  B.E./B.Tech in Chemical, Mechanical, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering.

• Experience:

  510 years in semiconductor, MEMS, photonics, or microfabrication industries.
• Strong knowledge of

  NaOH/KOH silicon etching, dry and wet oxide etching, RIE/ICP tools

  .
• Familiarity with

  100/150/200 mm wafer processes

  and

  ISO 9001/14001/45001 standards

  .
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work in cross-functional and global teams.
