Job Description

Network Engineer II with UC

Configuring and Troubleshooting of Network Infra (Routing & Switching, Wireless & Wireless AP)
Hands-on exposure of Meraki, Cisco, Palo Alto & other firewalls
Address Service Requests, Incidents, and Changes
Intermediate level troubleshooting
Coordination with ISP and Level 1 team for outages, RCA, and Changes.
Good knowledge about IPv4 or IPv6 and IP subnetting.
Own the change request and its closure.
Hardware upgrade and Firmware upgrade including WLC, routers and switches.
Monitor network equipment such as firewalls, routers, switches, WLAN Controllers, WAPs, and FMCs.
Create and follow up on replacement of faulty network hardware components when required.
Work along with L3 team for advance configuration and service deployments.
Involvement in Problem Management, Outage support, RCA, Advance level troubleshooting
Handle advanced level installation / configuration / integration of products and tools.
Mentoring and providing technical guidance to L1 team
Help L3 team in analysis of performance, availability, capacity, and operational performance trends and provide reports and value adds.
Regular update of operational documents
SOP driven support for Cisco Unified Communication.
Knowledge of Switch Stacking and their functionality.
Stack Switch Firmware upgrade.
You need to have hands-on experience with any network monitoring tools such as SNMP-NMS, Logic Monitor, and Solar Winds etc.
