Senior Engineer - Design

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and innovative Product Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, preparing product costing and Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and ensuring effective coordination with clients, Business Development Managers (BDMs), and vendors. This role requires a strong technical background and excellent communication skills to drive new product development and manage raw material requirements. Key Responsibilities: Product Design: Design and develop products that meet client specifications and market demands. Create detailed design drawings, specifications, and models. Product Costing & BOQ Preparation: Prepare accurate cost estimates and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for products. Analyze and optimize product costs to ensure competitiveness and profitability. Coordination with Clients & BDMs: Collaborate with clients and Business Development Managers (BDMs) to clarify product requirements and specifications. Provide technical support and guidance during the product development lifecycle. New Product Development: Lead the development of new products from concept to production, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards. Conduct feasibility studies, prototyping, and testing to validate product designs. Vendor Coordination: Work closely with vendors to source raw materials and components required for product development and production. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in product design and development, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in Auto CAD software and other design tools. Strong analytical skills and experience in product costing and BOQ preparation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with clients, BDMs, and vendors. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
