POSITION DESCRIPTION GROUP

1. Daily Production Report

• Summary of daily output vs. targets, shift performance, downtime, and issues.

1. Weekly/Monthly Production Performance Report

• Metrics on production volume, OEE, and efficiency rates.

1. Quality Control Report

• Data on First Pass Yield (FPY), PPM defects, and rework statistics, including RCA for issues.

1. Safety and Incident Report

• Summary of safety incidents, audits, and corrective actions.

1. Maintenance Report

• Preventive maintenance adherence, downtime reasons, and TPM metrics.

1. Cost Control Report

• Consumption and cost of materials, labor costs, and waste analysis.

1. Kaizen/Continuous Improvement Report

• Ongoing and completed Kaizen, 5S initiatives, and resulting improvements.

1. Manpower Utilization Report

• Manpower allocation, overtime, and training progress.

1. Delivery Performance Report

• On-time delivery rates and reasons for any delays.

1. Inventory and Material Status Report

• WIP, finished goods, and coordination with material planning.

1. Monthly Management Review Report

• Consolidated performance, quality, and cost data.

1. Customer Feedback & Complaint Report

• Summary of customer feedback and actions on complaints.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Education

  : Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.

• Experience

  :
• 10+ years in fabrication or welding shop management.
• 5+ years in a production leadership role.

• Preferred Certifications

  : Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean Manufacturing, Safety Management.

Skills and Competencies

• Fabrication Process Expertise

  : Knowledge of welding, cutting, machining.

• Welding Standards Knowledge

  : ASME, AWS, IS standards.

• Problem-Solving Techniques

  : 8D, RCA, Why-Why Analysis.

• Leadership Skills

  : Effective team leadership and development.

• Communication

  : Strong verbal and written skills.

• ERP and Data Analysis

  : Proficiency in ERP systems and data analysis.

Nice-to-Haves

• APQP Knowledge:

  Familiarity with Control Plans, PFMEA.

• TPM and OEE:
