Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Job Role:

• Design and develop control panels for water and wastewater treatment systems.
• Prepare wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and detailed bill of materials.
• Select appropriate electrical components such as MCB, MCCB, relays, PLC, VFD, etc., based on project needs.
• Create and review electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.
• Supervise and support panel assembly, wiring, and internal testing.
• Coordinate effectively with purchase, project, and site execution teams.
• Conduct quality checks and support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
• Maintain and update technical documents, revision records, and as-built drawings.
• Lead and guide a team of junior engineers and technicians.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards (IEC/IS) and are optimized for cost and reliability.

Requirements:

• Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design for control panels.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical / EPLAN.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on deadlines.
