Senior Electrical Design Engineer

About the Role : The Design Engineer–Electrical will be responsible for executing assigned electrical design projects by working closely with architects, service consultants, contractors, and internal team members This role involves preparing detailed designs, coordinating multidisciplinary services, conducting site visits, and ensuring successful implementation of electrical systems throughout the construction process. Project Execution: 1. Gather project requirements by preparing a detailed Questionnaire /Checklist for each new assignment. 2. Schedule and conduct meetings with architects, clients, and senior management to gather critical design inputs. 3. Designcompleteelectricalsystems, including : o DistributionBoardSchedules(DBR) o BudgetaryCost Estimation o ElectricalLoadDistribution(ELD) o ElectricalPowerLayout (EPL) o EquipmentSelection o MainSingle LineDiagram(MSLD) o Shaft&Cut-OutDetails o InternalElectricalLayouts(Location,Looping,Tray,Conduit/Sleeve,ELV) o FinalSLDandBOQ o MaterialList&MEPCoordination o PreparationofHand-over Documents 4. Collaboratewithotherserviceconsultants, contractors,and site engineers to: o Managedrawingupdatesandrevisions. o EnsureefficientMEPcoordinationacrossdisciplines. o ResolveconflictsbetweenarchitecturalandMEPlayouts. 5.Assign Project Coordinators for periodic site visits to ensure executionaligns with the approved design and specifications. 6. Deliver coordinated MEP drawings to architects that clearly reflect inter-disciplinary integrations and high light any design clashes or conflicts.
