Senior Echo Technician

· Prepares for examinations by checking equipment and inventorying and restocking supplies; reviewing patient schedules; reading physician orders for specific examinations; setting-up recording equipment; entering patient information into system.

· To explain the procedure to the patient .

· To prepare the patient for the procedure.

· Prepares patients by positioning patient; spreading gels; attaching electrodes to chest and equipment; adjusting equipment controls; verifying wave signals.

· Obtains quality images by positioning and repositioning transducer; monitoring display screen; listening to signals; adjusting equipment for beam strength and focus; detecting artifacts that mimic abnormalities; recording images.

· Records examination information by printing graphics and data; calculating measurements of heart wall, chamber size, and blood flow direction and velocity; comparing measurements to norms.

· Protects patients by adhering to safety policies and protocols.

· Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential; cautioning others regarding potential breaches.

· In case of breakdown, contact the biomedical department and the company personnel

· To participate and contribute to departmental quality initiatives.

· Presence in the ward: Be present in the allotted ward or department at all times during duty hours; take breaks (eg: for meals) with the permission of the in charge.

Qualification: Diploma / B.Sc. in Cardiac Care Technology with a minimum 3 years of experience (mandatory)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Echo Technician: 3 years (Preferred)
