Role Overview

A senior WPF, .NET Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and refactoring high-performance desktop applications using Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), C#, and modern .NET frameworks. This role requires deep expertise in MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel), ensuring maintainable and scalable solutions that provide seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain WPF applications using .NET and C#, focusing on maintainability and scalability.
Implement MVVM architecture to separate concerns and enhance application robustness.
Refactor legacy code bases to align with evolving platform requirements.
Optimize application performance and ensure reliability in demanding environments.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and developers to create intuitive user interfaces.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best development practices.
Develop and integrate REST APIs, handle asynchronous programming (async/await), and utilize dependency injection.
Perform peer code reviews and unit testing using frameworks such as NUnit, MSTest, or XUnit.
Play an active role in Agile Scrum processes, including requirement gathering, planning, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

4 to 6 years of experience working with .NET, C#, WPF, LightningChart and MVVM.
Expertise in XAML and designing intuitive user interfaces.
Proficiency in implementing complex threading, UI optimization, and memory management.
Solid experience with Git/version control and CI/CD integration.
Strong background in relational databases, preferably SQL Server or Sybase.
Familiarity with API development and integration (REST, Web API).
Team leadership abilities, mentoring junior developers, and driving architectural best practices.

Desired Experience

Leading full software development life cycle (SDLC) activities in commercial environments.
Working in Agile/Scrum teams, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
