Job Description

The Senior Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing Rooms Operations, Food & Beverage Operations, and Quality Assurance for all hotel brands in the assigned Market. Your key responsibility is to ensure the implementation of programs, processes, and initiatives at the property level. You will focus on operations troubleshooting, collaborating effectively with property management teams, providing technical training, managing the International Quality Assurance Program, handling pre-opening tasks, hotel conversions, developing effective F&B concepts, and overseeing front office, housekeeping, spa, and recreation areas. As the ideal candidate, you should have a college degree or relevant experience, along with at least 10 years of progressive work experience in the hotel industry with a focus on Rooms/F&B Operations. You must possess proven expertise in understanding contracts, presentation/public speaking skills, International SOPs, operations budgets, and capital budgets. Considerable work experience in the South Asia market is essential for this role. In this position, you will be expected to develop operating plans and business processes for your department in alignment with the function strategy. You will manage larger business processes or projects, set priorities and measurable objectives, monitor progress, and report results. Responding to business requests, making decisions with moderate risk, and presenting alternative solutions will be part of your responsibilities. You will assist more senior associates in achieving business results by acting in a consultative fashion, developing and communicating organizational goals, achieving results against the budget, taking calculated risks, and identifying barriers to success. Your role may involve directing the work of non-management staff, influencing cross-functional teams, and balancing the interests of your group with those of the organization. Your specific contributions will include assisting hotel management teams with implementing initiatives and programs related to Rooms Operations, Food & Beverage Operations, and Quality Assurance. You will ensure compliance with company brand standards, assist in executing restaurant/bar concepts, coordinate technical training, and drive revenue initiatives. Additionally, you will focus on recognizing outstanding associate performance, leveraging shared resources, attracting diverse talent, implementing innovations, and improving business performance.
