Job Description

Role Overview: As the Senior Director of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing Rooms Operations, Food & Beverage Operations, and Quality Assurance for all hotel brands in the assigned market. Your key responsibility will be to ensure the implementation of programs, processes, and initiatives at the property level. Specific areas of focus include operations troubleshooting, collaboration with property management teams, technical training, International Quality Assurance Program, pre-opening activities, hotel conversions, effective F&B concepts, front office, housekeeping, spa, and recreation. Key Responsibilities: - Develop operating plans and business processes for the department in alignment with function strategy - Manage larger business processes and projects, setting priorities, objectives, and monitoring progress - Respond to and make decisions on business requests with broader department impact - Assist in achieving business results by implementing programs impacting the broader organization - Assist in developing and communicating broader organizational goals - Ensure hotels understand and comply with company brand standards and International Quality Assurance Program - Assist in the execution of restaurant/bar concept documentation and food safety procedures - Coordinate pre-opening, task force, and operations technical training for new openings/conversions - Recognize and reward outstanding associate performance to improve hotel performance and customer satisfaction - Leverage shared resources and processes to improve business results - Continually develop and attract diverse, high-caliber talent - Identify and implement innovations to improve business performance Qualifications Required: - College degree and relevant experience in the hotel industry - 10 years of progressive work experience in Rooms/F&B Operations - Proven experience in understanding contracts, presentation/public speaking skills, International SOPs, operations budgets, and capital budgets - Considerable work experience in the South Asia market Marriott International is an equal opportunity employer that believes in hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive, people-first culture.
