Senior Director of Information Security

As a Security Leader at our well-funded healthcare technology company in Bengaluru, your role will involve overseeing the end-to-end cybersecurity strategy and execution. You will have the opportunity to work with various teams including Product, Engineering, Data, and Security to embed security practices across the product and technology lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include enhancing and scaling security and monitoring platforms for proactive threat detection and response. Additionally, you will drive operational excellence in risk identification, assessment, and mitigation across systems and processes. Your expertise in information security, application security, cloud security, infrastructure security, and cybersecurity will be essential in ensuring the security of cloud and hybrid environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. Your experience in leading incident response, breach management, disaster recovery, and business continuity programs in regulated environments will be invaluable in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and oversee the organisational cybersecurity strategy and execution - Enhance and scale security and monitoring platforms for proactive threat detection and response - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security practices across the product and technology lifecycle - Drive operational excellence in risk identification, assessment, and mitigation - Improve efficiency and effectiveness across security operations through enhanced platforms, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications Required: - 15+ years of overall experience with 10+ years in contributing to/leading cybersecurity and information security - Deep hands-on expertise in information security, application security, cloud security, infrastructure security, and cybersecurity - Strong experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM), privileged access controls, encryption, and secure authentication frameworks - Proven success in securing cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and managing enterprise-grade security tooling - In-depth understanding of healthcare security frameworks and standards such as HIPAA, HITECH, HITRUST, GDPR, and secure data exchange protocols - Experience in leading incident response, breach management, disaster recovery, and business continuity programs - Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional partnership skills Please note that the company is focused on modernising physician practices and emergency departments through automation and advanced revenue cycle management, enabling care teams to scale high-quality, compliant care while improving operational efficiency and patient outcomes.,
