Job Description

We are seeking a strategic, high-ownership digital leader to join as Senior Director Digital Planning with 8+ years of experience in Digital Planning. You will lead full-funnel digital planning and media strategy, delivering integrated solutions that drive brand equity, performance, and commerce outcomes for marquee brands across lifestyle, retail, and health categories. This is a pivotal role in shaping the digital direction of our clients businesses

In 3 Months:
  • Gain strong command over client categories and digital ambitions from brand equity to commerce.
  • Build trust with clients and internal teams as the go-to digital strategy partner.
  • Deep dive into proprietary tools, Martech stacks, and audience planning platforms.
In 6 Months:
  • Lead integrated digital strategies across paid media, content, influencers, and commerce.
  • Own and deliver data-driven campaigns, platform innovations, and full-funnel media planning frameworks.
  • Evangelize digital-first thinking within client orgs and internal teams.
In 12 Months:
  • Lead award-worthy digital initiatives (e.g., MMA, IDMA, Emvies).
  • Build a high-performing team of digital planners and analysts.
  • Drive thought leadership in the agency on digital maturity, measurement, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Digital Strategy & Planning
  • Build

    full-funnel digital media strategies aligned with brand and business objectives.
  • Integrate paid media with content, influencers, CRM, and commerce for cohesive consumer journeys.
  • Lead planning across channels including Meta, Google, YouTube, Programmatic, Amazon, Flipkart, Affiliates, OTT, and others.
2. Data-Driven & Audience-Led Thinking
  • Drive audience-first planning using data management platforms (DMPs/CDPs), first-party data, and insight tools.
  • Own the measurement strategy defining KPIs, attribution models, A/B testing, and dashboarding.
3 . Innovation & Platform Expertise
  • Lead platform innovation through new formats, betas, and partnerships (Meta, Google, Amazon, ShareChat, etc.).
  • Stay ahead of trends in AI, creative automation, voice, video, and commerce tech.
4 . Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the chief digital advisor to senior clients and brand leaders.
  • Partner with internal teams (TV, strategy, content, analytics, activation) to deliver unified thinking.
5 . Team Leadership
  • Mentor and grow a robust team of digital planners, specialists, and performance experts.
  • Promote a culture of learning, agility, and ownership.

Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in digital media planning, preferably in agency or consulting environment.
  • Experience leading integrated digital strategies across multiple categories (Retail, Lifestyle, FMCG, Healthcare preferred).
  • Proven expertise in both brand and performance media.
  • Strong working knowledge of MarTech, AdTech, analytics, and retail media.
  • Postgraduate degree preferred (MBA Marketing, Digital, or Communications).
