Senior Devops Engineer

About the role

Were looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and run our AWSbased cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes workloads at scale. You’ll lead cloud architecture, CI/CD, and observability efforts, drive security and cost optimization, and mentor more junior engineers. What you’ll do

• Architect, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code. Examples include VPCs, IAM, EC2, RDS, S3, and related services.
  
• Build, monitor, and optimize Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications for production reliability and efficiency.
  
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
  
• Lead observability initiatives using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar stacks; ensure strong monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
  
• Embed DevSecOps practices across the stack: secrets management, vulnerability scanning, policy checks, and compliance readiness.
  
• Partner with engineering teams to improve deployment speed, reduce downtime, and implement progressive delivery or GitOps patterns when appropriate.
  
• Drive cloud cost optimization and performance tuning; identify resource waste and architecture improvements.
  
• Participate in oncall rotations, incident management, and blameless postmortems; help evolve processes based on learnings.
  

What we’re looking for

• 7–12 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles.
  
• Strong handson experience with AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, etc.
  
• Deep expertise with Kubernetes and container orchestration in production.
  
• Proficiency with CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar systems.
  
• Solid knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
  
• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001.
  
• Comfortable scripting in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
  
• Excellent collaboration skills and ability to mentor others.
  

Nice to have

• Handson experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
  
• Exposure to fintech, regulated environments, or organizations undergoing audits.
  
• Knowledge of GitOps workflows, progressive delivery strategies, or service mesh solutions.
  
• Experience with policyascode tools or advanced security automation.
