Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer joining our team, you will:

Engage in all aspects of operational readiness for cloud-based, production, and pre-production level applications.
Provide ongoing support of applications hosted within the cloud and on-premise.
Partner with engineering teams to automate and evolve stability, performance, and supportability.
Take ownership of monitor design, incident identification, communication, mitigation, root cause analysis, and automation.
Implement non-functional requirements to ensure system availability, scalability, performance, monitoring, alerting and efficient incident troubleshooting.

About You:

You re a fit for the role of DevOps Engineer if your background includes:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field, equivalent work experience, or relevant certification
3+ years of Operations or Development related experience with cloud-based applications
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Availability for on-call incident response coverage

Preferred:

Experience with Linux, Java, database, and web technologies
Experience with scripting languages
Experience working with Github
