Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS and hands-on experience with EKS, Kubernetes, and the latest AWS services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration while ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure on AWS.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Implement and manage Kubernetes (EKS) clusters using HELM and ECS clusters, ensuring high availability and performance.
• CI/CD Automation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Argocd, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK to provision and manage cloud resources.
• Monitoring & Logging: Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Prometheus-operator ELK, Fluent Bit.
• Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance standards (e.g., SOC2, ISO27001) for AWS environments.
• Networking & Load Balancing: Manage VPCs, subnets, security groups, ALB/ELB, API Gateway, Route 53, and service mesh technologies like Istio.
• Serverless & Microservices: Work with Lambda, API Gateway, Fargate, and other AWS services for building serverless/microservices architectures.
• Database Management: Support RDS, AS400, and implement database backup and scaling strategies.
• Automation & Scripting: Automate infrastructure tasks using Bash, Python, Go, or AWS CLI.
• Disaster Recovery & Scaling: Design high-availability and disaster recovery strategies, including auto-scaling, backup, and failover mechanisms.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, Helm, and containerization best practices.
• Deep understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, Route 53, and CloudWatch.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Solid knowledge of Linux administration, networking, and security best practices.
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or AWS X-Ray.
• Expertise in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
• Strong understanding of microservices and serverless architecture.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, security best practices, and compliance standards.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer / Security Specialist certification.
• Experience with Service Mesh (Istio, Linkerd).
• Exposure to GitOps (ArgoCD, FluxCD).
• Experience with Chaos Engineering (Gremlin, LitmusChaos).
• Knowledge of machine learning workflows on AWS (SageMaker, Step Functions).
