Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. With 6+ years of experience in the field, the ideal candidate will be responsible for automating and optimizing our operations and processes, building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations. They will also troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments. The role demands a proactive individual who can work collaboratively with software development teams to enable continuous integration, continuous delivery, and ensure high availability and reliability of our applications. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement software integrations based on user feedback. Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines). Collaborate with team members to improve the companys engineering tools, systems and procedures, and data security. Conduct systems tests for security, performance, and availability. Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation. Participate in the processes of strategic project-planning meetings. Provide guidance and expertise on system options, risk, impact, and costs vs. benefits. Create and maintain detailed documentation of configurations and processes. Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of servicesfrom inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement. Support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning, and launch reviews. Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or relevant field. 6+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent software-engineering role. Expert in code deployment tools like (Argo CD, Puppet, Ansible, and Chef). Experience in network, server, and application-status monitoring. Strong command of software-automation production systems (Jenkins and Selenium). Expertise in software development methodologies. Working knowledge of JavaScript and known DevOps tools like Git and GitHub. Working knowledge of databases and SQL. Problem-solving attitude. Collaborative team spirit.
