Senior Devops Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior DevOps / Cloud Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate highly reliable cloud and edge infrastructure for mission-critical industrial applications. The role involves enabling seamless CI/CD, automated cloud operations, secure deployments, and strong observability across distributed edge-to-cloud environments.
You will work closely with Development, QA, Product, and Platform teams to ensure stable, scalable, and secure platform operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.E/B.Tech (IT/Computer Science), MCA, BCA, or B.Sc (IT/Computer Science).
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Operations, SRE, or related roles
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure; experience with AWS or hybrid clouds is a plus
• Deep proficiency in Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, Hel
• Expertise in Kubernetes, AKS, containerization, and Helm chart.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins
• Experience with monitoring & observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity & security (Entra ID, OAuth2, SSO)
• Knowledge of SRE practices (SLAs, SLOs, Error Budgets) is an advantage
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell
• Experience working in Agile and cross-functional teams

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud and edge deployments
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, Helm
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security across Azure, AWS, and hybrid platforms
• Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability systems
• Lead and support incident response, troubleshooting, and RCA activities
• Drive continuous improvements in reliability, automation, and cloud operations
• Implement DevSecOps practices (SonarCloud, Mend, Invicti, etc.)
• Apply cloud security best practices and identity/access control policies
• Support cloud cost optimization through efficient resource usage
• Manage multi-tenant, multi-environment setups (Staging, Pre-prod, Prod)
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Product, Platform, and SRE teams to ensure smooth delivery
• Contribute to cloud & edge deployment standards and governance
