DevOps / Cloud / Kubernetes Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Kubernetes & Containerization

• Design, deploy, configure, and manage

  Kubernetes clusters

  across environments.
• Develop and maintain

  Helm Charts

  for efficient and reusable deployment patterns.
• Work with

  Docker

  to build, optimize, and troubleshoot containerized applications.
• Secure Kubernetes networking using

  Calico

  and implement Calico network policies.
• Upgrade and maintain Kubernetes clusters with automated scripts.
  

CI/CD & Automation

• Build and manage

  CI/CD pipelines

  using GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and other automation tools.
• Automate release deployment processes for UI and backend microservices on Kubernetes.
  
• Develop automation scripts using

  Bash, Python

  , and other scripting languages.
• Automate provisioning of QA/PROD networking resources and AWS EC2 machines using

  Terraform modules / Crossplane

  .
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and container environments.
  

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Hands-on experience with

  AWS services

  : EC2, VPC, Load Balancing, Auto Scaling, VPC Peering, S3, IAM, SNS, SES, and more.
• Develop automation scripts to spin up EC2 instances and manage server configurations.
  
• Deploy and manage

  Kafka clusters

  using Strimzi Operator.
• Work with API gateways like

  Emissary and Envoy

  for traffic routing and service exposure.
• Ensure cloud infrastructure security, scalability, and compliance.
  

Monitoring & Observability

• Use monitoring and logging tools such as

  Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, Elastic Trace

  , and Splunk for system health checks.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and resource utilization.
  

Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely with development teams to optimize microservices and containerized applications.
  
• Maintain clear documentation for deployments, processes, troubleshooting steps, and best practices.
