Senior Development Lead

Role Overview: As a Dev Lead at Standard Chartered, you will play a key role in tapping into the latest industry trends and innovative products to deliver effective and faster product capabilities. You will support CASH Management Operations by leveraging technology to streamline processes, enhance productivity, reduce risk, and improve controls. Your responsibilities will include ensuring timely delivery to meet business constraints, growing Return on investment for respective businesses, and fostering an ecosystem of innovation through technology. Key Responsibilities: - Lead by example and cultivate a culture of appropriate values within the team - Bridge skill and capability gaps through learning and development initiatives - Set clear role expectations and provide periodic feedback to the team - Ensure a balance of in-house and vendor resources for optimal performance - Act promptly in addressing any risk and control weaknesses and escalate issues as needed - Balance business delivery with risks and controls to maintain acceptable risk levels - Develop and implement business continuity and disaster recovery planning for the technology portfolio Qualifications: - Minimum 10 years of experience in a Dev role with a couple of years in a Dev lead role - Proficiency in Java, Microservices, and Spring Boot - Technical knowledge in Java/Spring Boot, Kafka Streams, REST, JSON, Netflix Micro Services suite, 12 Factor Apps, Oracle, PostgresSQL, Hazelcast, and ELK - Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with senior stakeholders and top management - Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence tools is desired About Standard Chartered: Standard Chartered is an international bank committed to making a positive difference for clients, communities, and employees.
