Senior TM1 Analyst & Developer 6-Month Project

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior TM1 Analyst & Developer for a 6-month freelance contract in Paris. You will join our Financial Performance System & Data team, which is responsible for maintaining, administrating, and enhancing our financial performance information systems and data. The role focuses on developing cost allocation models to build Profit & Loss views across entities, business lines, and support functions, while also contributing to ongoing maintenance and improvements of our Planning Analytics applications and data model projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with international stakeholders in a dynamic financial environment, with accommodation, travel, food, and visa support provided.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in business requirement workshops with multiple stakeholders, document and interpret business needs.

Define the To-Be architecture and technical setup in TM1.

Develop cost allocation engines in TM1, including cubes, dimensions, TI processes, and rules.

Build and maintain TM1 reports using PAfE (Customized and Dynamic forms) or Perspectives.

Collaborate closely with cost teams throughout the allocation project cycle to provide expert support.

Interact with multiple stakeholders to gather requirements and enhance TM1 functionalities.

Produce detailed technical documentation and procedures related to TM1 architecture and design.

Provide high-quality support and assistance to end-users of our reporting applications.

Analyse existing applications to identify areas for improvement and propose solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 5 years experience with Cognos TM1 / Planning Analytics, covering:

TM1 Perspectives, Planning Analytics Workspace, PAfE, TM1 Web

TM1 Rules & TurboIntegrator

TM1 Architecture & Design

Strong experience in financial data manipulation and a good level of Excel skills.

Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.

High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a methodical approach.

Strong teamwork skills and ability to propose improvements.

Motivation to learn new IT tools and technologies.

Fluent English required; French and/or German is an advantage.
