Responsibilities

• Build solutions using

  Java & Open Systems technologies

  with a focus on both current and target state architectures.
• Understand requirements from product managers and translate them into technical solutions.
• Conduct

  proof-of-concept activities

  for product enhancements.
• Drive technical ideas and communicate them clearly to a technical audience.
• Lead and mentor other team members, contributing to their professional growth.
• Stay up-to-date on new tools and techniques in the

  open systems space

  .
• Perform advanced

  troubleshooting

  and apply exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues.

Skills

• Strong experience building solutions with

  Java & Open Systems technologies

  .
• Expert knowledge of

  Struts, JSP, AJAX, JavaScript, and jQuery

  .
• Expert in

  Object-Oriented (OO) design implementation

  .
• Experience with

  Tomcat

  .
• Experience in

  Oracle & SQL Server

  .
• Good understanding of

  XML and XSD

  .
• Strong analytical and

  troubleshooting skills

  .

• Good to Have:

  Experience with WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss; experience creating automated unit testing using JUnit; experience with build environments using Ant; fluency with NetBeans; and strong oral and written communication skills.

Qualifications
