Role: Sr. Developer with Data Migration Job Summary: EST WOrking hours We are seeking a skilled Data Migration Developer with strong expertise in SQL, T-SQL, and ETL to support our data migration and transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large datasets, optimizing queries, and ensuring seamless data movement across multiple systems. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute data migration strategies from legacy systems to new platforms. Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data efficiently. Utilize T-SQL to write complex queries, functions, and triggers for data manipulation. Work with ETL tools (SSIS, Informatica, Talend, etc.) to streamline data migration processes. Analyze source and target data structures to map and transform data accurately. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy throughout the migration process. Optimize database performance by tuning SQL queries and indexing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DBAs, developers, and business analysts , to meet project goals. Troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues in a timely manner. Document technical procedures, workflows, and data migration methodologies. Required Skills & Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in SQL, T-SQL, and ETL development . Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.) . Hands-on experience with ETL tools like SSIS, Informatica, Talend, or similar. Experience in data mapping, cleansing, and transformation . Proficiency in query performance tuning and troubleshooting SQL scripts . Familiarity with cloud databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, Google BigQuery) is a plus.
