Senior Developer - C# / .Net / VB

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer with strong expertise in VB.NET, C#, and in-depth knowledge of the insurance domain.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level insurance applications.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality insurance software solutions using VB.NET and C#.

- Work on critical insurance modules such as policy management, claims processing, underwriting, and renewals.

- Optimize and manage SQL Server and/or Oracle databases for performance, integrity, and scalability.

- Implement and manage integrations with third-party APIs for payment gateways, risk analysis tools, and compliance systems.

- Work closely with business analysts, product managers, and QA teams to gather requirements, implement features, and support testing.

- Identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve application speed and responsiveness.

- Follow coding standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to industry best practices and insurance regulatory standards.

- Prepare technical documentation and assist in training junior developers or onboarding new team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 6+ years of experience in VB.NET, C#, and .NET Framework/.NET Core.

- Proficient in SQL Server and/or Oracle database development.

- Experience with Web Services, RESTful APIs, and MVC frameworks.

- Strong understanding of insurance business processes, workflows, and regulatory compliance.

- Familiarity with systems related to policy lifecycle, claims adjudication, billing, and underwriting.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

- Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.

- Prior experience in migrating legacy systems to newer technologies.
