3 to 6 years of experience, with at least 3+ years in Golang System Programming Development Role OverviewWe are looking for a Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with strong expertise in Golang and hands-on experience in the Storage domain
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks and ensuring high quality, reliability, and performance of storage systems
Key Responsibilities Design, develop automation tests and maintain automation test frameworks and tools using Golang Build end-to-end, integration, system, and performance tests for storage products Validate block, file, or object storage features including durability, consistency, replication, snapshots, and recovery Collaborate with developers, architects, and product teams to understand system design and identify test gaps Analyze logs, metrics, and traces to identify defects and performance bottlenecks
Required Skills QualificationsTechnical Skills 4-6 years of experience in Software Testing / SDET roles Strong programming experience in Golang Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and concurrency Experience with test automation frameworks and building custom test tools Strong knowledge of Storage Systems: Block / File / Object Storage Distributed systems concepts (replication, sharding, consistency, quorum) Experience with Linux/Unix environments Hands-on experience with REST APIs, gRPC, and protocol-level testing Experience in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc) Familiarity with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Ownership mindset and attention to detail Ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments
