Senior Designer

Role & responsibilities

1. To get relevant design information and inputs from Marketing department

2. Brainstorming and understanding of information and inputs related to machine design

3. Starting preparation of basic concept of machine and get it approval from customer

4. Review the concept received from customer discussed with MD for necessary changes if any and assign task of final design preparation to junior team with necessary guidance and training.

5. Final design preparation will include important parameters like easy to operate, easy to maintenance, easy to assembly and safety features

6. Daily monitoring of task assign to junior team

7. Review the design and ensure all changes are taken care and recorded in prescribed format

8. Final approval of design

9. Based on approved design, further work is assigned to Juniors for preparation of

• Bill of Material,
• Component Drawing
• Assembly Drawing
• Process Drawing
• Guarding Drawing
• Based on IS Standards and customer requirements

10. Verification, control and monitoring of the the above activities done by junior team members

11. Maintain documents, records and formats.

Performance Goals

• Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as set by the Management.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience in mechanical design, preferably in the machinery manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Creo.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
