As a Senior Designer in the Home Category-Hard Goods at our Renowned Export House in Gurugram, you will play a crucial role in leading the design of both hard goods (wood, glass, ceramic, rattan) and soft goods (quilts, curtains, beddings) within our home products category. With over 7 years of experience, you will be responsible for creating innovative and high-quality designs that resonate with market trends, brand aesthetics, and customer needs. Your ability to oversee the entire design process from concept to execution, while collaborating with cross-functional teams, will ensure the successful delivery of products across various categories. Your key responsibilities will include leading the design and development of a wide range of home products, creating original and commercially viable design concepts, and developing detailed design specifications for both hard and soft goods. Moreover, you will collaborate closely with product development, sourcing, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and timely production of designs. Your role will also involve conducting market research, monitoring emerging trends, and applying insights to drive innovation in product designs. In addition, you will be responsible for material and product development, quality control, sustainability practices, design presentation, communication, and project management. Your qualifications should include a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Textile Design, or related field, along with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in product design. Proficiency in design software, strong project management skills, and an understanding of sustainable design practices are essential for this role. Preferred qualifications include experience in both hard and soft goods categories, knowledge of international markets, and familiarity with sustainable materials and manufacturing processes.
