Senior Knits Designer (Menswear | Export Market)

Knits Designer (Menswear)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop seasonal menswear knit collections: tees, polos, sweatshirts, hoodies, henleys.
• Create

  CADs, placements, print/embroidery artworks

  , and detailed tech packs.
• Trend research, mood boards, color stories, and range development.
• Work closely with mills for

  fabric/yarn developments

  , lab dips and swatches.
• Support wash developments: enzyme, pigment dye, garment dye, spray finishes.
• Coordinate with sampling, trims, and wash units to meet T&A timelines.
• Understand brand DNA and pricing expectations for UK & US markets.
• Present concepts internally and handle buyer comments/revisions.

Requirements

• 3–7 years

  of experience in

  menswear knits

  (export house background preferred).
• Strong skills in

  Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop

  .
• Good understanding of knit fabrics, yarns, washes, and GSM.
• Experience working with buyers like

  Next, M&S, River Island, Primark, American Eagle, Levi’s, Walmart, Target, Inditex, Mango

  etc.
• Strong communication, follow-up, and range-building abilities.
• Ability to independently manage styles from concept to sample.

Technical Skills

• Adobe Illustrator (Must)
• Adobe Photoshop (Must)
• MS Excel & PowerPoint
• 3D CLO is an added advantage
