Experience - 8+ years in Injection mold design (required skills)

Software - NX (required skills)

Responsibilities -

The role of a Senior Design Engineer involves designing, developing, and improving tools and fixtures used in manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. Coordinate and plan the designers (internal and external) involved in the projects. Here are the key responsibilities and skills based on the collected information:

Specific Responsibilities -

• DFM, Design and Development: Create and develop tooling such as, injection molds, and other manufacturing tools using NX CAD or software.
• Tool Improvement: Enhance existing tooling designs to improve production efficiency, reduce defects, and meet evolving project specifications.
• Fabrication Management: Oversee the fabrication of tooling components and fixtures, selecting appropriate materials, cutting tools, and accessories.
• Quality Assurance: Examine and measure completed tooling and parts to ensure they conform to specifications; adjust machine controls to resolve production errors.
• Coordination, revision, validation and Management Manage all the stakeholders involved in the project to achieve the timings and design quality expected.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and tooling documentation for manufacturing and quality purposes.
• Process Improvement: Assist in refining tooling processes and manufacturing workflows to optimize production efficiency and product quality.
• Safety and Compliance: Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with safety standards and regulations.
