Job Description

Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL, Looker, and Snowflake f2f interview contract

Opti Value Tek is seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL, Looker, and Snowflake to join our team
The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines, ensuring reusability, performance, and business alignment

Roles & Responsibilities

Write reusable, modular SQL code for data engineering solutions
Work with dimensional modelling (facts, dimensions, SCD, star schemas)
Build and maintain Looker semantic layers over Snowflake with focus on scalability and accuracy
Define LookML models, explores, views, and dashboards
Collaborate with business teams to define metrics and dimensions aligned to business goals
Ensure design and QA alignment with Looker best practices
Learn and contribute to all components of the Big Data Pipeline
Required SkillsStrong SQL programming (modular, reusable code)
Hands-on experience with Looker (LookML, dashboards, semantic layers)
Proficiency with Snowflake and data pipeline development
Knowledge of dimensional modeling concepts (facts, dimensions, SCD, star schema)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a hybrid / WFO setup
