What You Will Do:

• Design scalable, partitioned schemas for MSSQL, Redshift, and Snowflake
• Optimize complex queries, stored procedures, indexing, and performance tuning
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines to ensure timely, reliable delivery of data
• Own SLAs for data refreshes, ensuring reliability and consistency
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and DevOps to align data models with product and business needs
• Troubleshoot performance issues, implement proactive monitoring, and improve workflows
• Enforce best practices for data security, governance, and compliance
• Utilize schema migration/versioning tools for database changes

What Youll Bring:

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in database engineering or backend data systems
• Expertise in MySQL, Redshift, Snowflake, and schema optimization
• Strong experience in writing functions, procedures, and robust SQL scripts
• Proficiency with ETL processes, data modeling, and data freshness SLAs
• Experience handling production performance issues and being the go-to database expert
• Hands-on with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and data observability tools
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and analytical skills
