Senior Data Engineer

As a candidate for the position, you will be working on a dynamic solution that empowers companies to optimize promotional activities for maximum impact. This project involves collecting and validating data, analyzing promotion effectiveness, planning calendars, and seamlessly integrating with existing systems. The tool enhances vendor collaboration, negotiates better deals, and utilizes machine learning to optimize promotional plans. Your role will involve enabling companies to make informed decisions and maximize return on investment. Key Responsibilities: - Developing and maintaining distributed systems using Scala and/or Go - Working with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and microservices orchestration - Building data pipelines and ETL solutions using Databricks - Working with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch for data storage and retrieval - Deploying and maintaining solutions in the Azure cloud environment Qualifications Required: - More than 5 years of experience in the field - English Upper-Intermediate language proficiency - Experience in Scala and/or Go for designing and building scalable high-performing applications - Proficiency in containerization and microservices orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes - Experience in building data pipelines and ETL solutions using Databricks - Familiarity with data storage and retrieval with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch - Ability to deploy and maintain solutions in the Azure cloud environment - Experience in Python is considered a nice-to-have skill This role requires a specialty in Data Science and the working time zone is EU.
