Senior Data Center Expansion Manager

As the Expansion Project Manager at NTT GDC India Data Center, your primary responsibility will be to define and ensure the successful delivery of the portfolio of expansion projects. Your key activities will include: - Establishing and maintaining capacity expansion strategies for India and major markets based on current capacity, ongoing projects, and sales forecasts - Identifying new land and power needs, managing due diligence activities, and leading successful acquisitions - Developing and managing approval of Business Cases for acquisitions and new building projects - Ensuring successful project delivery within cost, time, and performance criteria You will report to the Director Expansion and will be responsible for: - Managing, coordinating, and driving 3-4 expansion projects within the region - Proactively engaging with internal and external stakeholders - Organizing and leading project workshops and meetings - Maintaining project execution plans and high-level programs - Monitoring risk registers and providing monthly status reports - Collaborating with internal departments and supporting business case preparation - Establishing project delivery budgets, managing change control, and ensuring final handover - Reviewing project status with all parties to align with the approved business case Additionally, you will be involved in permitting, planning, and agreement for lease, design, and construction processes, including: - Leading interdisciplinary teams to ensure successful planning and permitting - Preparing and executing public and political engagement plans - Achieving necessary planning permissions and defining design requirements - Monitoring design and permitting programs to ensure on-time delivery - Supporting commercial and sales teams with customer requirements Required Qualifications and Experience: - Minimum 15+ years of experience in project development, design, construction, or program management of Data Centers or similar high-spec Corporate Real Estate - Bachelor's degree preferred in Real Estate, Business Management, Construction, Engineering, or Law - Recent experience in a global organization with an international remit - Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills - Ability to work in diverse and deadline-driven environments - Knowledge of Data Center design principles, permitting, and international travel availability - Skills in change leadership, technical management, and collaboration in multicultural teams Your role will be critical in ensuring the successful expansion of NTT GDC India Data Center and contributing to the overall growth strategy of the organization.,
