Senior Data Architect

As a Senior Data Architect at CitiusTech, you will be part of an Agile team responsible for building healthcare applications and implementing new features while adhering to the best coding development standards. You should possess expertise in AWS cloud architecture, data engineering, and Python programming. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions, working with big data technologies, Spark, and MSSQL. Your role will involve hands-on experience in cloud migration, data modeling, and scalable data engineering solutions. Your responsibilities will include architecting and implementing scalable data solutions on AWS to ensure high performance and cost efficiency. You will develop and optimize ETL pipelines and data ingestion workflows using Spark, AWS Glue, and other AWS data services. Additionally, leading data migration efforts from on-premise MSSQL databases to AWS cloud, designing big data solutions leveraging Spark, Hadoop ecosystem, and PySpark for large-scale data processing, and building and managing SQL-based data models and transformations using DBT and PLSQL will be part of your role. Implementing containerized data solutions using Docker and Kubernetes for scalable deployment and collaborating with stakeholders to define data strategy, governance, and architecture best practices will also be key responsibilities. With 15-20 years of experience, the role is based in Mumbai, Pune, or Bangalore. An Engineering Degree (BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc) and technical certification in multiple technologies are desirable. Your mandatory technical skills should include expertise in Python Core Programming, data engineering with MSSQL, Spark, and Big Data ecosystem technologies, deep knowledge of AWS Cloud Architecture including Glue, S3, Athena, Redshift, EMR, and other AWS data services, strong background in PySpark, Hadoop, and high-performance data processing, experience in complex SQL modeling and DBT-based transformations, and proven expertise in migrating on-premise data to AWS cloud. Good to have skills include knowledge of healthcare data analytics and a professional-level AWS Solution Architect certification.
