Senior Data Architect

Role Overview: As a Data Architect at BNP Paribas India Solutions, your role is to ensure that systems are designed, upgraded, managed, de-commissioned, and archived in compliance with data policy across the full data life cycle. Your responsibilities will include complying with the data strategy, designing data models, managing metadata, and focusing on GDPR law to contribute to privacy impact assessment and Record of Process & Activities related to personal data. The scope of your work will cover CIB EMEA and CIB ASIA. Key Responsibilities: - Engage with key business stakeholders to establish fundamental data governance processes. - Define key data quality metrics and indicators, and facilitate the development and implementation of supporting standards. - Identify and deploy enterprise data best practices such as data scoping, metadata standardization, data lineage, data deduplication, mapping, transformation, and business validation. - Structure information in the Information System using tools like Abacus, group information, define navigation methods, and terminology within the Information Systems. - Create and manage data models in compliance with the data framework policy, including conceptual models, functional database designs, message models, etc. - Train individuals to use tools like Abacus to navigate logically through the Information System. - Contribute to and enrich the Data Architecture framework through analysis, projects, and IT validations. Update all records in Abacus collected from stakeholder interviews/meetings.
