Senior Data Analyst

Role & responsibilities

• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Design, implement, and evaluate A/B tests, ensuring statistical rigor and actionable outcomes.
• Partner with Product and Growth teams to define success metrics, develop analytical frameworks, and measure product performance.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
• Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to validate data integrity and ensure reliable analytics outputs.
• Support strategic business initiatives through forecasting, modeling, and scenario analysis.
• Document processes, data definitions, and analytic methodologies.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5 to 7 years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, or a related analytics role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (must be comfortable writing advanced queries, joins, window functions, CTEs, etc.).
• Hands-on experience designing and analyzing A/B tests (including statistical concepts such as confidence intervals, p-values, and sample size calculations).
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar).
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate data into insights and business recommendations.
• Experience working with large datasets and complex data models.
• Excellent communication skills able to present data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
