Senior Data Analyst

To be successful as a Senior Data Analyst you should have experience with:

• Expertise in SQL, R or Python statistical programming and Data Analysis.
• Strong knowledge of data and analytics, such as dimension modelling, ETL, Reporting tools, Data governance, Data warehousing, Structured and Unstructured data.
• Experience of data modelling on both relational, big data and Cloud platforms. Should be able liaise stakeholders and draft requirements documentation.

Some other highly valued skills may include:

• Good understanding of Banking and Financial domain.
• Strong analytical skills and aptitude for problem solving Great verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to lead/mentor small-medium size data/Business analyst team with the different technical and functional skills across locations.

This role is based out of Pune.

Purpose of the role

To implement data quality process and procedures, ensuring that data is reliable and trustworthy, then extract actionable insights from it to help the organisation improve its operation, and optimise resources.

Accountabilities

• Investigation and analysis of data issues related to quality, lineage, controls, and authoritative source identification.
• Execution of data cleansing and transformation tasks to prepare data for analysis.
• Designing and building data pipelines to automate data movement and processing.
• Development and application of advanced analytical techniques, including machine learning and AI, to solve complex business problems.
• Documentation of data quality findings and recommendations for improvement.
