Senior Credit Officer

As a Senior Credit Officer at Khushbu Auto Finance Ltd. in Rajkot, Gujarat, you will be a crucial part of our team dedicated to providing customized financing solutions while prioritizing customer satisfaction and ethical lending practices. Your role will involve managing the credit evaluation process for auto finance loans to maintain the quality of our loan portfolio, evaluate risk, and facilitate sustainable business growth through informed credit decisions. Your responsibilities will include evaluating loan applications, conducting credit risk analysis, and making credit decisions in alignment with company policies. You will be responsible for performing financial assessments of borrowers, verifying information through client visits when necessary, and collaborating with sales and operations teams to ensure smooth loan processing. Monitoring overdue accounts, ensuring policy compliance, and presenting credit reports to management will also be integral parts of your role. Additionally, you will contribute to training and mentoring junior credit staff to enhance team capabilities. To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, or a related field, with an MBA/CA/ICWA being advantageous. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in credit appraisal, particularly in auto finance or NBFC sectors, is required. Strong familiarity with credit underwriting processes, risk assessment, local market knowledge in and around Rajkot, and proficiency in MS Office and financial analysis tools are essential. Your analytical skills, effective communication, and sound decision-making abilities will be critical to your success in this role.
