Senior/Manager Credit Operations

Key Responsibilities

Credit Appraisal & Processing

• Lead underwriting, appraisal, and approvals for Retail/MSME loans.
• Maintain TAT while ensuring quality and policy adherence.
• Collaborate with sourcing teams for optimal credit decisions.

Policy & Process Management

• Define and upgrade SOPs in line with regulatory guidelines.
• Drive digitization and automation in credit processing.
• Ensure RBI compliance and address audit recommendations.

Risk & Portfolio Management

• Monitor early delinquencies and initiate corrective actions.
• Partner with fraud risk teams on suspicious case reviews.
• Support risk mitigation through process interventions.

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

• Lead and mentor the credit ops team.
• Liaise with IT, operations, and business teams for seamless execution.
• Ensure vendor performance for verification, valuation, etc.

Operational Excellence

• Drive KPIs: TAT, approval ratio, accuracy, and cost optimization.
• Maintain high standards in credit documentation and decisioning.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education

  : MBA or Graduate (Finance/Banking preferred).

• Experience

  : 710 years total, with

  minimum 5 years in a leadership role

  in credit underwriting of:

  Unsecured/Secured Individual Loans, Business/MSME Loans, Retail Loans
