Senior Credit Analyst - Insurance

Role Overview: As a Credit Analyst in the Insurance sector at Global Analytical Centre in Pune, your primary responsibility will be to support global Credit Analyst(s) in tracking the performance of a portfolio of Insurance Companies operating in North American/European markets. You will play a crucial role in responding to credit events to ensure timely and accurate credit ratings and research. Additionally, you will be required to analyze industry, regional, and regulatory dynamics, understand and flag rating triggers, and prepare internal credit analysis reports. Key Responsibilities: - Support global Credit Analyst(s) in tracking the performance of Insurance Companies" portfolio - Track and understand industry, regional, and regulatory dynamics - Flag rating/outlook triggers to the global credit analyst - Analyze financial and operational performance, work on financial models, and conduct peer analysis - Prepare internal credit analysis/assessment packs and notes - Assist in the preparation of publishable credit rating and research reports - Follow defined processes and ensure adherence to Compliance, Confidentiality, and Information Security Policies - Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients - Manage requests from global Credit Analysts and contribute proactively to client priorities Qualifications Required: - 1-3 years of relevant experience in credit analysis, ratings, credit research, and report writing - Experience covering global markets, preferably North American/European countries or domestic markets in the Insurance sector/Financial Institution - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Good understanding of international accounting standards, banking-related financial concepts, and strong analytical skills - Good interpersonal skills, ability to work with the larger team, and lead and mentor team members - Essential Qualifications: Two years full-time MBA in Finance or equivalent OR CA (Note: Preferred qualifications are the same as essential qualifications),
