Senior Credit Analyst, CCIB

As a Credit Analyst at our company, you will be responsible for supporting Account Managers by conducting credit reviews, ongoing risk monitoring, and assessing client creditworthiness. You will use your extensive knowledge of our risk assessment and portfolio risk management framework to analyze Standard Chartered's risk appetite against market and economic conditions in various markets and asset classes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead credit reviews, analyze and monitor client credit risk to ensure creditworthiness. - Provide insightful, succinct, and timely client portfolio credit analysis. - Spread financials, propose credit grades aligned to scorecards, document client risk and mitigants, and monitor for credit-material events. - Partner with Banking, Coverage, and Risk teams to develop and execute credit analysis, credit origination, and monitoring. - Deliver client fraud risk assessments and document residual risks and mitigants. - Provide credit intelligence to identify business opportunities with an acceptable risk profile. - Analyze industry risks, client competitive positioning, funding strategy, financial policies, treasury activities, and cash flow. - Assess reputational risk profile, including climate and sustainability risks. **Skills And Experience:** - Proficiency in risk management lifecycle, financial forecasting, and modeling. - Strong financial and quantitative skills. - Experience in client due diligence and using client behaviors to evolve products and services. - Knowledge of product solutions for Markets, Transaction Banking, and Corporate Finance. - Understanding of the financial services regulatory environment. - Ability in data analysis and visualization. - Capability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
