Senior Counselor

Job Description: As a Senior Counselor at NextGen Education Foundation, an Institute of Open Learning, you will be responsible for career counseling, development, management, student counseling, and effective communication on a day-to-day basis. This full-time on-site role is based in Kothrud, Pune & Vashi, Navi Mumbai. The foundation offers short-term vocational diploma courses in growth sectors like Industry 4.0 automation, IoT, Cloud Computing, Analytics, AI, and Machine Learning with the aim of creating industry-ready resources through certification programs that enhance essential skills, industry competence, and employability. Your main responsibilities will include providing career counseling to students, assisting in their career development, managing student counseling sessions, and ensuring effective communication. You will be expected to work closely with students to conduct career assessments, guide them on career pathways in the education industry, and build rapport through strong interpersonal skills. To excel in this role, you should possess Career Counseling, Career Development, and Career Management skills, along with Student Counseling and Communication skills. A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field is required. Additionally, experience in the EdTech industry is essential for this position.
